NPNA supports a variety of projects and events for our neighborhood throughout the year.
These activities and more are made possible by NPNA volunteers!
Here are a few ways to volunteer.
- Have a Green Thumb? Join volunteers in maintaining the NPNA flower beds and rose garden.
- Backyard Garden Tour: Join the committee to plan and promote the event or just man a check-in station for a few hours on the day of the event. See this and other past projects in Beautification.
- It’s My Park Day: Join volunteers in cleaning up debris along Joe’s Creek and in the parks. See more about Creek Preservation.
- Spring Picnic: Assist with picnic plans.
- Coffee with DPD: Host this event at your home (quarterly event).
- Halloween Parade: Help plan and publicize the event or donate treats for the party.
- Easter Egg Hunt: Help plan and assemble the eggs, donate treats, scatter eggs before the event.
- Last Friday First Call Happy Hour: Host this event at your home (bi-monthly event).
- Neighborhood Yard Sale: Join the committee to plan and publicize this event, help distribute signs to host homes.
- Withers 5K Run: distribute water to participants at one of the NPNA water stations.
- Photography: Serve as the photographer for various events for inclusion in the newsletter. See photos of past events in Social Events.
- New Resident Ambassadors: Join this group to call on and welcome new residents to the neighborhood.
- Moms Group, Me, Myself & I Luncheon Group: Become a member or help start another club.
