The Northaven Park Neighborhood Association Beautification Committee mission is to work collaboratively with the various departments within the City of Dallas, community organizations (such as Friends of the Northaven Trail) and residents to enhance and protect the beauty of our neighborhood. We have several projects on the horizon, including a huge outing this fall with the Dallas Parks and Recreation Department to plant 50 trees in Northaven Park. Strategically designed and located to provide shade in needed areas while not disturbing the fields of play for teams to enjoy.
Want to be a part of NPNA Beautification? Here are several ways you can join in the neighborhood efforts.
- Always a need…donate to help fund future beautification projects.
- Donate your time to help plan, organize, or grab a shovel.
- Volunteer as a beautification advocate and communication liaison within the neighborhood
- In-Kind donations; design expertise, plant selections, and/or community resources for project materials
- Social media help
Volunteers with garden experience, as well as those interested in learning, are welcome.
